Thomas Ruskin is the President of CMP Protective and Investigative Group, Inc. Thomas Ruskin has held this position for over a decade, leading the firm into national prominence as the chief provider of security, protective, and investigative services. Before coming to work for CMP Group, Thomas Ruskin worked as a New York City police detective investigator. While employed by the New York Police Department, Ruskin rose through the ranks, developing a particular expertise in international and national investigations, including executive protection and event security. Thomas Ruskin obtained valuable training protecting dignitaries by the United States Secret Service, enabling him to be responsible for the safety of President Bill Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, and Mrs. Hillary Clinton. As a member of the NYPD, Thomas Ruskin was assigned to numerous divisions, including the Narcotics Division’s Special Projects Unit in the Organized Control Bureau, the Anti-Crime Squad, and the Burglary Latent Print Unit.
