Tamar Genger - Founder of JoyofKosher.com
Tamar is the founder and editor of joyofkosher.com, the world’s largest online Jewish food community and an expert on kosher health and nutrition.
Tamar has received the District of Columbia Metropolitan Area Dietetic Association’s Young Dietitian of the Year Award. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association, and the former Information Technology Coordinator for the District of Columbia Metropolitan Area Dietetic Association. Tamar is also a member of the Nutrition Entrepreneurs and Food and Culinary Professionals dietetic practice groups.
Before beginning her career as a nutrition consultant, Tamar worked as a Project Coordinator for Center for Science in the Public Interest. She has also worked as a clinical hospital dietitian and a research associate at the University of Maryland – College Park.
