Devoted to the field of Medicine, Ms. Miga Coka currently serves as a Medical Assistant at American Therapy Centers, LLC in Westland Michigan while simultaneously studying to fulfill her pre-medical requirements at Wayne State University. At American Therapy Centers, Miga Coka is responsible for introducing new patients to the center and helping return patients with any questions or concerns they may have. Miga Coka also handles communications with insurance companies, including all billing and coding tasks. Trained as a Medical Assistant at the William D. Ford Career/Technical Center, Miga Coka is versed in all areas of basic medical care, including vital signs, injections, urinalysis, EKGs, and sterilization. In addition, Miga Coka has provided her services for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the top research center for childhood catastrophic diseases in the world. Miga Coka additionally works as a waitress and hairstylist. Born and raised in Albania, Miga Coka remains active with her community as a member of the Albanian-American Club and by supporting a number of Albanian causes, including the Albanian school system, Albanian television, and the St. Paul Catholic Church in Albania. Miga Coka also supports the Purple Heart by giving annual donations of clothing and furniture. Fluent in Albanian, Miga Coka uses her skills to benefit Albanian medical patients. Miga Coka is deeply interested in Albanian poetry and literature, especially the works of the Albanian Franciscan friar Gjergj Fishta. Entertaining a general love of poetry, Miga Coka reads a wide variety of poets and is always searching for new favorites.
