Proficient in Spanish and a number of software programs, Jonathan Herrick is an exemplary student and a responsible employee. His academic and professional history reveals his strong leadership capabilities and drive to succeed.
His most recent professional experience was a summer internship with OhioHealth hospital in 2012. His analysis would be used for future operations in the endoscopy lab. By working closely with his mentor and attending financial and transfer project meetings, Mr. Herrick gained valuable experience in change management processes.
In the summer of 2011, Herrick worked with Revolution Prep, a standardized test preparation service for high school students, as an Ivy Insiders Branch Manager. He undertook the enterprise of starting a branch of Revolution Prep in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio to offer local high schoolers ACT preparation courses. He handled all aspects of managing the finances, sales, and course instruction. Mr. Herrick relied on his education to track business metrics such as marketing and networking. By developing relationships with area high schools, he drove referrals and gained access to a larger customer base.
Jonathan Herrick’s medical pursuits emerged as a result of his work assisting a doctor through the International Service Learning Costa Rica Medical Mission in 2010. He performed research on the rural population to better understand the community’s medical needs. He then assisted with general, dental, and optometric services.
He is presently a student at Vanderbilt University, majoring in medicine, health, and society. He plans to earn his Bachelor of Arts in 2013.
