As Vice President of BB&T Bank in Fairfax, Virginia, for the past six years, Greg Nosar commands a long and diverse career. Greg Nosar pursued a robust course of study at George Mason University, where he eventually earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. In his final two years at college, Greg Nosar deftly balanced his work in the classroom with a position as Branch Manager of First Virginia Bank in Falls Church. The simultaneous combination of school and real world experience fostered a holistic learning environment for Greg Nosar, instilling a sense of responsibility that he would take into his professional and personal life. Upon graduation, Greg Nosar remained with First Virginia Bank until March 2003, where he oversaw the vast majority of branch sales, development, and operations. Maintaining the highest-performing branch in the First Virginia Bank network, Greg Nosar consistently surpassed all sales goals while Branch Manager, eliciting praise and accolades from executives of the bank. Recognizing his performance at First Virginia Bank, BB&T Bank recruited Greg Nosar to serve as Vice President in April 2003. At BB&T Bank Greg Nosar shifted his focus to mortgage loans, where he immediately carved out a successful new career path. Since joining the firm, Greg Nosar has produced $50 million in loans per year on average and has amassed $250 million in total loans. This year, Greg Nosar became the top producing originator at BB&T Bank and strives above all else to maintain this status. Greg Nosar lives in the Washington, D.C., suburb of Stafford, Virginia, with his wife, Angela, and daughter, Hannah. |
