Edward Dadosky - District Fire Chief @ Cincinnati Fire Department
Edward Dadosky is a highly dedicated public servant with an impressive background in specialized emergency response tactics. Prior to stepping into the role of District Fire Chief of the Cincinnati, Ohio, Fire Department, Edward Dadosky served as a police officer, a paramedic, an emergency medical system coordinator, and as a project leader for numerous emergency operations initiatives. In addition to his duties as Fire Chief, Edward Dadosky currently maintains membership in a Policy Oversight Committee (POC), working in conjunction with Cincinnati’s Urban Area Security Initiative to develop and implement improved public safety measures. Edward Dadosky also functioned in a similar role as a member of the POC for the Department of Homeland Security Regional Technology Integration Initiative. Over the course of his career, Edward Dadosky has garnered high praise for his performance on the job. The recipient of the Hamilton County Fire Chief’s Special Recognition Award, Edward Dadosky was also honored on two occasions for his excellent risk communication skills by the Alliance for Chemical Safety. Moreover, Edward Dadosky earned two Rotary Club Awards for his accomplishments within the Cincinnati Fire Department. Edward Dadosky devotes a great deal of time and energy to his duties as Fire Chief, although he still finds time to co-chair the Hamilton County Terrorism Preparedness Advisory Team. Moreover, Edward Dadosky maintains ties with the Cincinnati Community Emergency Response Team, the Department of Homeland Security, the Ohio Homeland Security Advisory Committee, and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. For Edward Dadosky, community service extends beyond his daily professional work. In the free time he has available, Edward Dadosky volunteers at St. Gertrude’s Parish, a local church, and donates his time as a member of the Hamilton County Interagency Board. A strong supporter of his peers, Edward Dadosky makes regular contributions to the American Red Cross, supporting disaster relief efforts around the world.
