Eminently experienced in professional law enforcement, Dominick Dellegrazie currently serves as Captain and Executive Officer for the Sea Gate Police, a private department located in Brooklyn, New York. He reports directly to the Chief of the department, and he oversees investigation efforts for all criminal activity, including homicides. His contributions to the department include managing a drug-testing program, supervising arrests, overseeing the Internal Affairs Bureau, and performing employee performance evaluations. Dellegrazie also works closely with the Environmental Protection Agency, the New York Police Department, and the Office of Emergency Management as a liaison for his department.

Before joining the Sea Gate Police Department in 2003, he acted as head of security for Vice Presidents Al Gore (2002 to 2003) and Dan Quayle (1997 to 1999). Dellegrazie’s security experience also includes service as Director of Security Operations for the 27th Annual Conservative Political Action Conference, an event attended by leading political and business figures, from President George W. Bush to the President of the Republic of China. Earlier in Dellegrazie’s law-enforcement career, he excelled as a member of the New York Police Department.

Dominick Dellegrazie currently holds an Armed Security Guard Certificate with the New York State Security Guard Advisory Council, as well as a New York State License To Carry Firearms, and is certified as a New York State Peace Officer.

Over the course of his extensive law-enforcement career, he joined the NYPD Columbia Association, the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators, the International Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association, and the Retired Detectives of the Police Department of the City of New York, Inc. He previously held the office of President of the New York State division of the American Federation of Police and currently serves as President of the NYPD Retired Detectives.
