For the past five years David Hughes has been serving the needs of his client’s overall financial goals. As a Mortgage Planner for Cendera Funding, he truly understands how valuable knowledge and accuracy are when implementing a mortgage to your financial picture. David also recognizes that he is helping his clients create, perhaps, the largest debt in their life and sees it as his personal responsibility to help them professionally manage that debt.

David’s experience from the investment management industry along with his family’s life-long involvement with the mortgage community allow him to always make sure the mortgage is working for you instead of you working for the mortgage.

David grew up in both Northern Oregon and Chandler, Arizona.  He earned his B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Arizona State University. He has also completed his CFA Level 1 exam and enjoys adding to his education on a continuous basis. 

Away from the office, David is an avid sportsman and enjoys golfing, baseball and wrestling with the local high school teams. He is also committed to mentoring a group of young men in the Junior High ministry at his church.  His goal, along with the Youth Ministry team, is to help them to become “fully devoted followers of Christ.” 

Above all else, is David’s commitment to his family; David, his wife and their daughter reside in Roanoke, Texas. As a family, they enjoy a good flick at the movie theatre, experiencing new places to eat, volunteering at their church, hiking, camping and other outdoor sports.
