Cari is a highly skilled editor and writer with experience in online and offline media copy, search engine optimization, press releases and public relations. She recently began working for the Studio D team at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, where she edits press materials and content for the global integrated communications agency and its clients.

Cari began her career in the editorial department for PRWeb's online news release distribution wire, writing and editing press releases for the Web 2.0 medium and often communicating with counterparts from Business Wire and PR Newswire. She then moved to the Washington D.C. area to create the East Coast branch of PRWeb's editorial department after the publically traded company, Vocus, acquired PRWeb. She was promoted to Manager of Editorial Services in 2007. While managing this department, Cari worked closely with Vocus' marketing, sales and product management departments. She also helped with the launch of PRWeb UK, which internationalizes PRWeb's offerings and further boosts clients' online visibility worldwide.

Cari graduated in 2005 from Western Washington University after completing a three-month public relations internship with the nonprofit Opportunity Council. She received a degree in Journalism and was honored as the department's Outstanding Graduate for 2005.
