I have had a passion for vegetable gardening since I was young. I grew up in Washington state where things grew easily. However, when I moved to Utah in 2006, I became intrigued with the differences required to grow vegetables in a desert climate. I have spent a lot of time learning how to correctly grow vegetables in Utah. During this process, I decided to start this blog in hopes to consolidated all of this information I have found along with my experiences in growing vegetables in Utah.

While I wish I could do this full-time, I am content with doing what I can to promote and teach vegetable gardening. It is a future goal to allow subscribers to access a "nag" service that would prod and remind when an action needs to be taken in the garden such as fertilization, pest management or watering.

I am married and the father of 5 children. I am an accountant by trade, but I wish that I could manage this site full-time.
